Baby Blues Connection Volunteers and Staff

Our volunteers and staff are the backbone of our organization. We wouldn't be here without you.

Staff

Angie Fitzpatrick, Program Director of Baby Blues Connection, has been with the organization for three years. Initially working as a volunteer Mom-to -Mom group facilitator and phone support person, she was then hired as the Program Coordinator. She was promoted to Program Director one and a half years ago and brings enormous energy, commitment, and organizational skills to the position.

Angie is the mom of two children, a boy and a girl, and has experienced pregnancy and postpartum depression and anxiety. When she speaks to a mom calling the Baby Blues Connection phone line she truly means it when she says “I understand.”

Rebecca York, Volunteer Coordinator, and mom of two toddlers, first came to Baby Blues Connection looking for support for postpartum depression and anxiety. She then volunteered as a group facilitator of the New Moms Support Group and found that her personal experience helped her connect and empathize with the moms in the group.

Rebecca graduated with her Masters of Social Work in 2005. She believes that her experience with postpartum depression and anxiety was a blessing of sorts, and knows this is where she wants to focus her professional efforts. She was thrilled at the opportunity to work for Baby Blues Connection as Volunteer Coordinator and to support the volunteers that provide such critical services for our community.
